International assignments and cool projects to jumpstart your career: students like to do their internship or graduation project at Van Oord.
We welcome talented people at universities and vocational schools studying civil engineering, ship building, electronics, business studies, economics or maritime studies. Students in other areas – like HR, marketing, PR and IT – can also apply.
Internships usually take place at one of our projects in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia or Latin America. Graduation projects take place both in the Netherlands as abroad.
For interns and graduation project students sent abroad, Van Oord will arrange and pay for the following:
- the journey to and from your destination
- accommodation at the job location
- meals or a meal allowance
- any necessary vaccinations
- a visa, where required
- any information needed about the destination
