Van Oord is known for its cutting-edge fleet and complex maritime engineering projects. And both of these are powered by the 900 dedicated men and women from the Fleet department, which operates out of our Rotterdam headquarters.

Due to our ongoing growth, we are always interested in meeting new marine electricians, electronics experts, navigation officers, and first marine engineers. Their expertise helps us get most out of cutting-edge trailing suction hopper dredgers, cutter suction dredgers, flexible fallpipe vessels and side stone dumping vessels.

Our Fleet staff enjoy the opportunity to work on prestigious projects worldwide. This often require them stay abroad for several months on end, and our generous leave system is such that people enjoy the same amount of downtime as they work.
