Quality, health, safety and environment (QHSE) are the four pillars on which our success depends. Rightly so, because our people and the communities in which we operate deserve the best possible conditions. That is why each project has its own dedicated safety inspector and why we tie safety-related targets to individual bonuses.These and other measures are the domain of our dedicated QHSE Department. This team helps all of us to minimise the number of incidents and mitigate our impact on the environment through special policies and specialised training programmes. QHSE can spend anything from a week to several months on location to help out on projects. These investments have paid off. These past few years, the number of incidents has been steadily declining.
