Our Technical Department handles the high-tech vessels and equipment that power our projects. A team of 200 professionals oversees the construction of new vessels, as well as the maintenance of specialised pieces of high-tech equipment like trailing suction hopper dredgers, cutter suction dredgers, flexible fallpipe vessels and side stone dumping vessels. It is innovative work that takes you round the world.

The Technical Department consists of:

Plant Design & Construction Department

Based in Rotterdam, this team takes care of everything related to sea-going equipment, including technical and financial feasibility studies, construction, hydraulics, electronics and steel constructions.

Plant Maintenance Department:

The people in this department, which operates out of Rotterdam, are responsible for the maintenance and repairs of equipment such as trailing suction hopper dredgers, cutter suction dredgers, flexible fallpipe vessels and side stone dumping vessels.

Process Control & Automation:

This department designs, installs and maintains software that is used to manage, optimise and automate the dredging process.
