Traineeship

Van Oord’s traineeship is a resounding success: in 2007, when the programme was only a year old, it won the award for Best Technical Traineeship. We are still very proud of this achievement. The prize was created by Smart Events BV, the events organiser responsible for the Sp!ts Career Event. Its purpose is to give students in higher education and recent graduates a good impression of the various traineeships available in the Netherlands. Former Dutch tennis player Richard Krajicek speeched after he awarded Van Oord the best technical traineeship.

Van Oord's international traineeship is a broad, varied traineeship programme that includes excursions, training, and hands-on experience in the Netherlands and abroad. The purpose of the programme is to familiarise trainees with Van Oord's core processes. Motivated candidates with the right competencies have an excellent opportunity to grow along with the company. You will rapidly acquire the knowledge and skills you need thanks to Van Oord's training and instruction.
