Are you driven by both the technical and the organizational aspects of projects and are you looking for a responsible role dealing with leading structures throughout the entire Netherlands? Do you want to help safeguard Lely's heritage for decades to come? 32 kilometres of dyke reinforcements and a new motorway. Sluices and pumping stations that can discharge 235 m3 of water every second. Innovative concrete elements, a solar farm and the cutting for a unique fish migration river. These are all part of the renewal of the Afsluitdijk, a project for which we will be pulling out all the stops in terms of Marine ingenuity over the coming years. Interested? If you would like to contribute as a Project Planner, apply to Van Oord!
As Project Planner of the Afsluitdijk, you will provide reliable project plans during both the preparation phase and the execution phase. You will be working together with clients, consortium partners and (sub) contractors and will give advice about, among other things, the progress, resources, opportunities and risks. In order to perform your job properly you will keep a physical eye on the site. A versatile, but also a very responsible job where your knowledge and resourcefulness will be called upon in every phase of the project.
You are a first class organiser who can deploy critical path analyses, ‘what if’ scenarios and probability plans effortlessly for optimal project control. You seldom lose the overall sight of things (and if it does happen, you get back on track very quickly). Even when things are hectic and the completion time is short, you continue to communicate and collaborate. Furthermore, you have:
- At least gained a Bachelor’s degree in a technical area and have sound knowledge of Primavera and other planning related software.
- Extensive experience in dredging or oil & gas or offshore wind projects, in both the tender phase and the execution phase.
- Excellent social skills and reporting skills.
As Project Planner you will be working with a dynamic, broad and multi-disciplinary team, which is responsible for the Afsluitdijk Project. Together with a number of colleagues, you will be responsible for strengthening the process-control team. Moreover, you will receive:
- A salary that matches your responsibilities
- Excellent fringe benefits
- Sample space (and a training budget) to develop professionally and personally so that you can continue to grow in your role
Project location / Work location: Den Oever (The Netherlands)
