Your responsibilities
From Dutch flood defenses to artificial islands and offshore wind farms, we are building image-defining maritime solutions that are often essential for the safety (and for dry feet) of the inhabitants of the Netherlands and that contribute to sustainable development. For our clients we take care of the entire process, from design to implementation, and risk management plays a very important role in this process. As a  Risk Manager you are responsible for identifying, prioritizing and controlling possible risks. You do this by performing qualitative and quantitative analysis (with the help of Monte-Carlos simulations) on tenders and current projects. You are the real risk-hunter when it comes to the way risks and measures are inventoried. You make sure risk management is always an important topic on the agenda and in addition, cooperation is important to you. It is a challenging, but mainly a responsible position, where from Vlissingen to Eemshaven an appeal is made to your knowledge and ingenuity.

Job requirements
Technical, financial and contractual matters concerning the design, construction or maintenance of (large) infrastructural works are your passion. You make a constructive and added value contribution to tenders, projects and the continued development of the team and the department, due to your pro-active and curious attitude, problem-solving ability and a lot of persuasiveness. Furthermore, you have:
● A Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering, Technical Business Administration or Economics;
● A Minimum of 7 years of experience with project risk management and risk analyzes, among which Monte-Carlos simulations;
● Creative, result-oriented, good with numbers and stress resistant;
● Preferable knowledge of @RISK and experience with writing EMVI/MEAT plans;
● Excellent command of the Dutch and English language.
