The position
As a Tender Manager, you are a go-getter that manages and organizes the tender process for one or more multidisciplinary and complex projects for Van Oord. You genuinely listen to your customer and you know flawlessly when he is satisfied and what his wow factor is. Translating the customer demand into the best offer is the main challenge for you. Dykes, ports, coastal works, embankments, land reclamation, dredging, earthworks and infrastructure, as a Tender Manager at Van Oord you work on projects with a broad scope.

Your responsibilities
Working towards success and celebrating success together with your team is what drives you. Being a real people manager, as a Tender Manager you will create a comfortable working atmosphere within the tender team. You will stimulate employees to get the most out of themselves and to do everything in their power for a winning EMVI offer in which price and quality come together.

Futhermore, you will be responsible for:
• Liasing with the client;
• Reporting to (senior) management;
• Hand-over from the tender team to the project team;
• Evaluation of tenders.

Job requirements
You have broad experience in tendering, design, preparation and execution of infrastructure projects. You bring extensive knowledge of UAV-gc contracts and your commercial insight is of the highest caliber. As a person you are customer-, result- and collaboration-oriented and you have a winning mind-set. In addition, you will bring to the table:
• Several years of experience in a comparable managerial position and/or as a Project manager on a multidisciplinary and complex D&C and/or DBFM project;
• A completed bachelors or masters degree in Civil Engineering or similar;
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English language.
